The humans that helped this idea become a real thing!
So…how did we get here?
The founding members of Make Good Theatre Co. all met each other during their time at the University of the Arts, where they bonded over a shared love of art that feels impactful, silly and a tad fantastical. MK made it out just in time, and was a member of the last graduating class at UArts. Gideon, Zoe, Fern, and Brynn all transferred to Temple University for their senior year, graduating the following spring. They entered the professional world with a new perspective on what it means to be working actors and multi-hyphenate artists.
What started as a brainstorm session in someone’s living room turned into a year’s worth of consistent meetings and before long, something tangible started to take shape. Make Good Theatre Co. was born! The company was truly a team effort, and would not exist if it were not for the trusted friends and collaborators that believed in the idea and each other.
When creating the company, the team often returned to the idea of: Believe in something enough, and hopefully other people will too. They are so excited to share this new theatre company with Philadelphia, and hope that it inspires others to pursue what they believe in too.
